Family Focus: Affordable Everyday Products

Costco is sponsoring this event but we genuinely love Costco and are thrilled to partner with them!

#PMBCostcoMomHour

As a family of five, including three active and growing children I have found our lives to be constantly on the go! Between, work, school, dance, baseball, after school activities and much more, it was becoming difficult to add in frequent trips to the grocery store.  Here to save the day (and my sanity) is Costco Wholesale! I have now developed a routine where each month I create a list of our most favorite and needed products and head out to our Costco.

 Here are my go-to products:

  • Kirkland Meat Lasagna , Chicken Pot Pie, Mac-n-Chesse :: basically any pop in the over dinner that makes mom look like she slaved in the kitchen all day to provide an All Natural healthy meal for the family. Not only do my kids love these meals but the clean up is super easy and quick as we head out the door to our next activity!
  • Kirkland Diapers and Wipes :: We all know how fast we go through these products! Kirkland brand diapers are fantastic and are so soft on your baby’s bottom and the best part is how many you get for an amazing price! The wipes, yes please…900 in a box! We always have a pack in the car, diaper bag, mom’s purse, living room, you name it! So convenient!
  • Kirkland Bakery Products :: Love, love, love this department! The cakes are so fresh, huge and the price is so affordable compared to other markets! They have more than cakes too…Chessecake lovers you have to check out Costco’s Kirkland Signature Chessecakes! You can bet one or two of these will be in our house for the upcoming holidays!
  • Holiday Decorations :: Every season Costco supplies us with the most unique and affordable ways to decorate our homes. Of course Christmas is my most favorite and I have already stocked up on Kirkland wrapping paper, ribbons and decorations! Tis the season!
  • Gas :: Costco is one stop shopping, not only can you check off grocery shopping on your list but swing though the gas line on the way out and fill up at the best price in the city! These gas prices justify membership alone!
  • Organic Meat :: You can buy bulk organic ground beef and a variety of chicken for prices you can afford to pay! I love stocking my freezer with a variety of healthy meats for that last minute dinner!
  • Snack Food :: Family-size portions, this is key in our house as we are headed into the growing stages where our kids seem to be hungry ten minutes after dinner! Costco offers HUGE bags for less than you would pay for a single portion at a retail store! This is a perfect time for us to buy bulk as we will be hosting many get togethers over the holidays!
  • Medicine :: Heading into flu season we know it is a guarantee that we will develop various colds, sniffles and unfortunately other sicknesses that would typically have us running out late night to grab products. We have now learned to take advantage of Costco pharmacy and have stocked upon the basics, especially when they appear in the monthly coupon books!

If my top favorite aren’t enough here are some additional reasons why I LOVE Costco:

  • Competitive pricing on quality merchandise meets or exceeds local competitors.
  • Kirkland Signature products are rated higher than most leading brands.
  • FREE demos and samples on a daily basis.
  • Costco is leading the nation in organic sales.
  • The environment in Costco speaks for itself with its cleanliness and well-lit warehouse shopping experience.
  • Costco offers many services in and outside of the warehouse: Auto Buying, Check Printing, Travel and Car Rentals, Insurance, Mortgage Financing, Water Delivery, Leaf Guard, Flooring and Windows, Identity Protection, Pharmacy, Hearing Aid, Optical, and Photo Lab.
  • Discounts to restaurants, movies, spas, and many more.
  • They offer a 100-percent member satisfaction guarantee and will refund your membership if at any time you are not satisfied.
  • FREE healthy heart screening, osteoporosis screening to all members and non-members.
  • They offer pet meds for your fur babies.
  • Costco’s meat department is USDA Choice grade or better.
  • They have the best Rotisserie 3-pound chicken for $4.99 – no preservatives, MSG free, gluten free, and USDA grade.

Don’t just take my word for it! Come see for yourself!
