Campfire Ghost Stories

October 14th

7pm

Hartwood Acres Park

Hampton, Pa

This event is free and open to all ages, however children must be accompanied by an adult. The night will begin with your park ranger building a campfire. Then all will gather to listen to some spooky stories! Everyone is also encouraged to wear their costumes for the chance to win a prize!

Living Dead Weekend

October 14th, 15th and 16th

Various Locations : EDCO Park, 154 West Main Street, and The Living Dead Museum

This event is for Zombie and Classic Horror Movie fanatics. Enjoy a celebration of George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” movie in the very town where it was created! You will enjoy movie screenings, celebrity appearances, and film location tours. Please visit the website for more information.

Ohio Township Haunted Trail

October 29th

6:30pm to 7:30pm 7 and under

7:30pm to 9pm 8 and over

(Nature Trail and Nature Center Upper Level)

This event will not only included a walk down the haunted trail but also will have children’s crafts, face painting and snacks!

Fright Night at Mt. Lebanon Public Library

October 21st

Participants of this event should prepared to be SCARED! This event celebrates everything spooky! Everyone is encouraged to attend wearing their costumes as well!

Peters Township Haunted Trail

October 7th and 8th

Peterswood Park

Venetia, Pa

This is a haunted trail for all ages! To meet the needs of everyone in the family this haunted trail has two paths! One for those who came to be scared and another for little ghosts and goblins under 8!

Haunted History Hayride and Candlelight Walk at Bushy Run Battlefield

October 22nd

1253 Bushy Run Road

Jeannette, Pa

Take in the chilling look at Pontiac’s War with a hayride at Bushy Run Battlefield. You will be able to hear screams in the night, shots in the distance, and cries of angry Native Americans and wounded British soldiers.

Hobgoblin Hikes at Mammoth and Northmoreland Parks

October 22nd (Mammoth) October 29th (Northmoreland)

7pm to 9pm

Mammoth Park, Blacksmith Road, Mount Pleasant PA

Northmoreland Park 280 Markle Road, Apollo PA

This event is recommended for kiddos 8 and up! during this hike you will enjoy a half mile outdoor guided tour of the haunted woods of Mammoth and Northmoreland parks. You will be led through mazes and cemeteries and more than 100 ghouls, goblins and monsters!

Irwin Ghost Walk

October 22nd

Mainstreet, Downtown Irwin

This event will feature a grand ghostly walking tour that features the history of the building’s of downtown Irwin.

Zombies of the Corn

Are you a fan of zombies? Then this is the event for you. You can hunt zombies or walk through their zombie compound during this experience. Also listen to ghost stories by the campfire and even get your face painted- zombie style!

Phantom Fright Nights

Fridays and Saturdays Sept 30th-October 29th and Sunday October 9th

Kennywood Park

This won’t be the Kennywood experience you remember! There are demented clowns, hungry vampires, ghouls and ghosts haunting the park! Not recommended for children under 13.

Haunted Mini golf at Hopewell Windmill

This haunted outdoor mini golf experience is Halloween fun for the whole family. Featuring glow in the dark golf balls, Halloween music, and Halloween decorations. But watch for surprises around each corner! The course before dark is encouraged for younger kids.

The “ScareHouse” experience has been ranked one of “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions” by the Travel Channel. There is true artistry that goes into the performances, costumes and interior design of the facility. Please be advised this is not recommended for children under 13 and no one under 7 will be admitted.

Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House

This event is only encouraged for ages 13 and up. Be warned that Hundred Acres Manor is Pittsburgh’s largest and most extreme haunted attraction. It is more than 1 mile in length and ranked one of the top haunted attractions in the world!

Haunted Hills Estate

This unique haunted attracted provides three scary experiences. The Curse Challenge Trail, Legends Hotel, and the Twisted Nightmare Escape Room.

Haunted Hills Hayride & The Valley of Darkness

500 Mosside Blvd, North Versailles PA 15137

This haunted attraction offers two experiences, the Haunted Hayride and The Valley of Darkness Haunted Walking Trail. Both trails lead into the woods where you will encounter creatures and monsters.

Lonesome Valley Farms: Valley of Terror

Blue Ribbon Lane Greensburg, PA 15601

This Halloween attraction has both a haunted hayride and maze, but also the “Slotter Farmhouse and Barn”.

Haunted Expedition

Proud to be Pittsburgh’s newest and most realistic haunted attraction experience, Haunted Expedition is located at Shenot Farm in Wexford Pa. This expedition includes 2 hayrides, three interactive shows, and haunted trails through the orchard and corn field. This journey will take you back in time to discover a town trapped in time and tormented by demons!
