Are you a busy parent that needs a quick, easy dinner idea but yet still wants the taste of a home cooked meal? Have no fear, Burger 21 is here!

If you’re like us, we are constantly on the go, whether we are headed to the ball field for a game, the gym for gymnastics class or the courts for a hoop game, we often find ourselves having to grab dinner on the go. I recently visited Burger 21 with my family and had a great time, tasted some amazing food and made it to the ball field in plenty of time to catch our son’s game!

Burger 21’s menu includes 10 Certified Angus Beef options from your Cheesy Burger to your spicy Cinco burger all the way to the OMG burger! If your not a beef fan you have to check out their 10 non-beef, from chicken and turkey to shrimp, tuna and vegetarian. The Chicken burgers are hand-made in house using their own recipe of herbs, spices and bread crumbs!

Would you like a side with your burger? We highly recommend the Half & Half 1lb. basket of french and sweet potato fries. We had so much fun tasting each of the 10 delicious dipping sauces offered at their B saucy bar!

Maddi 450x600The atmosphere at Burger 21 is extremely family oriented! The kids menu is priced very reasonable with a variety of fresh healthy options from hand-breaded chicken tenders, beef and turkey burgers, to 100% beef hot dogs! During your short wait for your food your little artists can create their master piece for all to see!

Finally, who doesn’t enjoy dessert? Pull up a seat at the shake bar and watch as your hand-crafted shake or retro float is made! Burger 21’s crafted shakes are made with only the highest quality ingredients, like Ghirardelli sauce, fruit purees, caramelized bananas and delicious cake! We highly recommend the Key Lime Pie Shake!icecream600x492

As a parent who loves to be involved I found Burger 21’s mission in wanting to build community relationships and giving back to others to be so unique to your typical restaurant! Burger 21 is very active in supporting neighborhood charities and organizations. Below are just a few ways Burger 21 has made an impact on our community:

Burgers &moms &babies 465x700 Shakes for Moms & Babies – On May 16th Burger 21 will donate 15% of your check in support of Team Riley Matters in the Pittsburgh Promise Walk for Preeclampsia.

On the 21st of every month they hold a charity event where 10% of all proceeds for that day go to their charity for that month. They have already made a huge impact with military connections and the North Hills Community Outreach Program. If you haven’t already experienced one of these events then you have to come out on May 21st as Burger 21 supports Animal Friends for a fun filled day of activities including an adoption event!

Everyday offering – 1/2 priced kids meals for anyone 12 & under wearing their team jersey, scout uniform, dance team outfit, participation in a musical concert, etc. Just let one of their order takers know and they will apply the discount!

In summary, our first experience with Burger 21 – service was excellent and  food arrived very timely. It was great that the kids found interest in their drawings and were so excited to hang them up for all to see! Anytime my kids enjoy sitting and eating their dinner is an accomplishment in our house and I can say that we had no problems cleaning our plates as we all enjoyed our meals! Well done Burger 21! Thank you for making our dining out experience an enjoyable one!
