Giving Tuesday: Join in on the RAOK Fun

I pray your holidays were filled with love and fun. We are thankful for you being apart of our strong momma tribe! With it being Giving Tuesday, we were curious how we can give back to our lovely community.  Inspired by so many who need a little love… we put our own spin on a Random Act of Kindness movement, and came up with a fun goal to spread more kindness. The team created our own Random Acts of Kindness Cards. The goal is to do as many as 1,000 random acts of kindness in the month of December! Our team of Contributors will be passing out cards and if you want to participate by following the steps below:

How it works

Do one random act of kindness, example – buy someone’s coffee, getting a treat for a kid at the store, even paying a compliment is a great way to spread the joy! Pass the card to that person so we can keep the Random Acts of Kindness going. Hopefully the recipient finds a way to pay it forward and pass that same card along.

Take a picture with your card, whether giving or receiving, and tag #raokPMB and #pittsburghmomsblog #31daysofkindness  on Instagram and Facebook Participate on FB and IG so we can see how far the messages go! We hope to see our 1000 reach across the USA and beyond!

You can print your set of 4 cards for free right here!–> raokcardspmb

It’s so simple yet a fun way to spread happiness and joy. Get involved and let us see what how you do your random act of kindness. You never know how you may impact someone’s day and vice versa what it could do you for yours! Performing acts of kindness has been proven to improve mood and overall well being. It’s a win-win for everyone!

We’re also happy to announce the start of our new project #PMBShares, managed by Liz Hawkins. #PMBShares is a great resource to see what kind of fundraising events are happening right now in your area. One of our team members may even be at the event with you! Learn more by reading her article.

If you know of any fundraising in-person events you think we should have on our Community Event Calendar you can send her an email at [email protected]
